It is a time-honored tradition; trying to decide where to go, what to do and how to party for New Year’s Eve. We have compiled a list of restaurants hosting festivities to welcome 2009 to help your decision-making.


RIO GRANDE: Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant, known for fresh and healthy Tex Mex dishes and famous, “limit 3” margaritas, will celebrate with a complimentary midnight champagne toast and party favors. Rio Grande will be open until 12:30 a.m. No reservations are necessary and there is no cover.

ZENGO: Zengo, a restaurant specializing in Latin-Asian cuisine, will offer a four-course menu followed by a tequila toast at midnight. Reservations are recommended.

LA SANDIA: La Sandia Mexican Kitchen and Tequila Bar at Northfield Stapleton will offer a three-course menu. La Sandia’s location at The Vistas at Park Meadows will offer a three-course menu, as well as a midnight tequila toast and live Latin music on their enclosed, heated rooftop.

PARALLEL 17: P17 will offer a five-course menu, with a vegetarian option, and live music from DJs Ajay and Zolitar. Three seatings are scheduled for 6, 8 and 10 p.m. with a champagne toast at midnight. The music begins at 10 p.m.

TRATTORIA ON PEARL: Boulder’s Trattoria on Pearl will offer a three-course or four-course menu. The four-course choice includes an appetizer and glass of champagne.

JACKSON’S: Jackson’s celebrates the night with an open premium bar, complimentary buffet, $4,000 worth of giveaways and a champagne toast at midnight. Live music by DJs Dangerous Dan and Shor-T.

TWELVE: Twelve Restaurant offers a four-course menu. Space is available in the 8:30 p.m. seating and reservations are recommended.

FLEMING’S: Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar offers a lobster trio menu with three different choices.
