Casselman’s Bar and Venue, at 2620 Walnut St., is NoDo’s premier bar and venue.

Firehouse Subs: When you first walk into Firehouse Subs, at 10060 Grant St. in Thornton, the staff will tell you that they serve the hottest subs in town.  

That’s because the subs that they serve are piled high with oversized portions of premium hand-sliced meats and cheeses, steamed to make the flavors burst, and then served “fully involved,” with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, mustard and a dill spear on the side.

You may find this location a little more like your neighborhood pub and diner, with a touch of Irish elegance, rather than a traditional Irish tavern.
