Where was notification on copter exercises?City and County wonderTad Rickman, DDN EditorWednesday, June 18, 2008 | |
The City and County of Denver issued a joint statement yesterday regarding the anti-terrorism training exercises going on in Denver right now, and wonder why the public was not informed beforehand.
For those who haven’t heard or haven’t looked up at the evening sky over downtown the last few days, the U.S. Special Operations Command, along with the local SWAT, police and fire departments, are conducting routine anti-terrorism training exercises in Denver this week. The training involves several military helicopters, including the famous Black Hawk model featured in the movie “Black Hawk Down,” flying around Denver skyscrapers.
Not related to DNC
The exercises are not related to the upcoming Democratic National Convention, taking place in Denver in August, Lt. Steve Ruh, a spokesman with Special Operations, told the Denver Daily News Monday. He also said the exercises will last all week.
What did not occur prior to the exercises was any kind of advanced public warning that the exercises were going to take place, and yesterday the office of Mayor John Hickenlooper issued the following joint statement from the City and County of Denver:
“The federal agencies sponsoring the ongoing multi-agency training in Denver agreed to make the proper notifications regarding the exercises to prevent surprise and inconvenience to Denver residents. There seems to have been a misunderstanding about the reach and scope of these notifications, and they did not occur in the manner expected by the city.
“Although these exercises are in no way connected to the upcoming Democratic National Convention, Denver officials were well aware that there would be heightened sensitivity to an exercise such as this because of its proximity to the convention..
“Denver recognizes that these are our federal partners, and we are fortunate that they have chosen Denver for their training exercises. Should there ever be an emergency here that would require federal assistance, they will be familiar with our city and how best to navigate it.”

If martial law is being practiced, you can bet that martial law is coming. Can anyone say yikes. Just remember, the Jews in Germany, before being hauled to concentration camps, answered the knock at the door by the German Police. Oh how many of them had wished they had met the police with knives, guns, and fists. How do you boil a frog? You place it in comfortable water and slowly increase the heat. Right now, the American People are frogs. Can you feel the heat? |

| Rob Banks @ 2008-06-23 03:04:49 | Hey Webreporter, I think your caps-lock key is stuck.
You say the Feds are defending your freedom, but it seems to me like they're trying to take your freedom away. Unless of course you don't mind your phone being tapped, or you or your neighbors being placed on secret "watch lists", or having soldiers jumping out of helicopters and stepping on your neck. And what about registering your guns? Hey, it's all good, right?
And all that junk about a right to a speedy trial, and the right to face your accuser, I mean it's different if you're a suspected terrorist, and the evidence is a state-secret. I'm sure you wouldn't mind being detained indefinitely in a secret prison cell, cause that's what it takes to "defend freedom", uh.. right?
Seriously, you don't care about freedom. All you care about is some sick kind of tribal loyalty, defending the actions of the US government no matter how reprehensible.
The things the Feds are doing are bad, m'kay. Lies, wars of agression, torture, watch-lists,warrantless searches, shows of force to intimidate the citezenry, these things are bad, not good.
Please wake the f*(k up.
USA out of Denver!!! |

FEMA Concentrations camps under Rex84, and a variety of other globalist plans are being tested, and perfected, and the elites are socially engineering crises to drive us into military rule. Scary! |
