Could aliens clean up Gulf spill?

Local alien expert and initiative proponent believes advanced alien technology exists

Peter Marcus, DDN Staff Writer

Tuesday, June 15, 2010

Local alien expert Jeff Peckman would like to beam assistance to the Gulf.

He says the answer to the Gulf oil disaster may lie in sophisticated extraterrestrial technology.

Peckman, who is running a Denver ballot initiative that would create a commission to study extraterrestrial affairs, says whistle-blowers have pointed to advanced alien technology that could achieve the kind of environmental cleanup that is necessary to handle the Gulf disaster.

“More recent messages coming from this direction or that direction have affirmed that there are such technologies in existence that could be made available to us once there is open contact, acknowledgment and diplomatic relations with these advanced extraterrestrial cultures,” said Peckman.

The ballot initiative Peckman is running was recently moved from the August primary ballot to the November ballot by Denver Elections officials. A spokeswoman for the Clerk and Recorder’s Office said the initiative was moved for budgetary reasons. It is cheaper for the city to place the question on the November ballot when there is a general election with more candidates and issues.

Peckman is thrilled, pointing out that there will be much higher voter turnout in November than August.

“It’s great news,” he said. “It probably means four times as many people will vote on it.”
The initiative asks Denver voters to approve a seven-member Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission to post “credible evidence of extraterrestrial visitors” on the city’s official Web site. The commission would be funded through grants, gifts and donations.

Peckman believes there is increased interest in alien affairs these days, noting that “Avatar” was recently the highest-grossing movie of all time. The 2009 sci-fi adventure focuses on extraterrestrial worlds, technologies and beings.

Peckman believes his initiative would help to foster communication with aliens, which could lead to advanced technologies that would help humans deal with everything from environmental disasters to illness.

This initiative would help just in raising the awareness that there are such technologies that have been available and even known by our government for decades that could produce clean energy technology, cure cancer, cleanup the environment — a wide range of technologies that have been there,” he said.

Niara @ 2010-06-15 09:21:36Starting with the Disclosure Project videos: Witness Testimony videos and the 2001 National Press Club conference, anyone can begin to educate themselves about just how realistic this option is... if oil corp people will step aside, take their toys and just go home. No more greed, no more lust for power. It's in our faces now that they could kill us all - destroying our oceans will cause an ecosystem-wide collapse. If ever there was a time to educate ourselves and welcome contact, it is now. They are not here to destroy us, they could have done it many times over. We do need to acknowledge they are their and ask their help.

Gromosso @ 2010-06-15 10:23:24I thought the article meant aliens as in illegal immigrants. The same thing happened on Katrina where they hired a bunch of Mexican and illegals to remove the debris while they did not get pay.

Alex @ 2010-06-15 10:44:18Could you cut your neighbor's grass? They could clean it up, but what for? So that we can sh*t again?

Debrainwasher @ 2010-06-16 14:27:38Such an idea is a riduculous wingnuttery - intended to create artificial breaking news - on the expense of distracting people from real solutions. The hard fact is, UFoolOgy has turned the hypothesis for extraterrestrial life into a profitable mainstream cult - but they haven't managed to come up with one single tangible proof, ET-visitation took ever place on earth or elsewhere in our solar system. It's like to sell breeding courses for unicorns.

Lin @ 2010-06-16 21:09:18I would like to say to Debrainwasher that there is an abundance of evidence of exterterrestrials visiting and being here for thousands of years. The most evidence comes from your everyday king james bible..What they were talking about there was god comming down from the heavens and angels came from the heavens to talk with some..think about that for a minute..can't you just use your common sense and if you knew the real history of mankind and got more facts you might be able to get a clearer picture of what is truth and what is not...Just because your priest or your mother and father or your teacher told you other wise, trust your senses. There are such amazing rediculously incredible things going on out there, all you have to do is take off the blinders, open your mind, and look up you fool..

Joe @ 2010-06-20 02:45:16What Peckman is advocating is both dangerous and foolish. Humanity has no knowledge of what life is like beyond our borders or who we would be dealing with. Accepting Alien "help" and technology will create a dependent situation thus compromising human sovereignty and self-sufficiency. At this point, all evidence of Et contact (secrecy, abduction, manipulation) points to an agenda of intervention for their own purposes. Do not be fooled by pro-ET propaganda. In my opinion, Peckman is being used by the ET intervention. Read the Declaration of Human Sovereignty to learn about what is really happening and what we can do.
